Connecting a GOPRO 3 to aircraft radio

my image I was looking for this but could not find it online so here it is: If you want to connect a GOPRO HERO3 to an aircraft radio all you need to do is buy a GOPRO microphone adapter or a  GOPRO combo cable and jack the speaker out of your radio to the microphone-in on the aforesaid cable. my image I finally had enough with this bug tonight and wanted to know exactly what makes a GOPRO HERO3 lock up when charging with some USB chargers. The tell tale sign that this has happened to your camera is the dimly lit back LED and no response to any button presses.
