Conceptus Bite Switch for Sony Cameras!

  • 9900

Now for Sony Cameras with USB-C

[2.5mm Canon | Sony Cameras | Special Needs]

The Conceptus bite switch is the defacto bite switch used in the industry. It's time proven design works when the user bites down on the red section of the switch to trigger the camera. This Sony Multi Micro USB version is for cameras with the Sony Multi-Micro USB port. The new USB-C is for the latest Sony Cameras with USB-C ports.

Unlike other manufacturers this switch is active. This means you'll be able to properly focus the camera when using the camera's shutter. With other manufacturer's adapters, holding the shutter half way down does not focus the camera while the cable is installed.

Our suggestion with any camera switch is to spit it out before deployment to increase the lifespan of the product. From my experience, I've found 1 crappy opening is enough to destroy any bite switch when the customer clenches down with all their might.

Sony Connections Options

The direction the cable leaves your camera is often a personal preference. Most cameraflyers like their cable to go down towards their helmet. However, in cases where the connector lies at the bottom of the camera, a sideways version might be optimal.

Sony USB-C

This is the new Sony USB-C connector and works with the Sony a6700, Sony a7v, Sony a7CR, Sony ZV-E10 II, Sony a7Cii, Sony ZV-E1.
The Sony a7c and the Sony ZV-E10 is NOT Supported

The USB-C switch comes with a Sony a6700 door lock. See the door lock install instructions here. We currently do not have door locks available for other cameras at the moment.
