I haven't modified a Sony NEX camera with a hardwired jack in a while since there are several new mirrorless SLRs out there with remote jacks (our article on mirrorless SLRs for skydiving). Remove a Broken TV Cable Pin in a Gopro (2.5mm Plug Extraction)

I was recently asked to fix a GOPRO HERO2 whose TV pin was broken inside the 2.5mm jack. This is what finally worked for me. It's based off of a similar very long winded video for a 3.5mm headphone jack. Since I like getting to the point, here it is: Find a sturdy shaft that fits inside the 2.5mm jack and can be modified.
