Although my research is not complete, I've ascertained enough details about the Socionext/GoPro GP2 that it's time to release my notes. Below is my working journal as I study an unknown, undocumented processor. In my attempt to resurrect a bricked GoPro Camera, I've studied the bootup and update sequence of the Socionext GP1. This processor is a SC2000a with possibly some changes by GoPro. The Issue GoPro HERO10 and now the HERO9 has a critical software flaw that can "brick" the camera. We informed GoPro Inc. about this flaw in December.
